The reason so many people enjoy their visit to Wongan Hills is the personal service and friendly atmosphere of the Wongan Hills Hotel. This beautifully constructed two storey art deco style hotel offers food and budget-friendly accommodation. There are 10 Motel Units and 23 Hotel Rooms – the hotel rooms are located upstairs and there are single, double, twin and family sized rooms available, with some having access to the balcony which surrounds the front and side of the hotel. Facilities include a large Public Bar, Beer Garden, Restaurant / Café, TAB, Bottleshop, and Function room. Dining options include bar snacks; cut lunches – which are ideal for work crews or picnics; an a la carte menu in the restaurant dining room; bistro menu – grills, seafood, pasta, wok, pizza and more; takeaways; and counter meals. The hotel building has been recognised as a fine and rare example of 1940s hotel architecture, and the integrity and authenticity of the art deco design details of the period is significant.

Located opposite the Christmas Rock Trail, the caravan park offers a large variety of onsite accommodation to suit all budgets. For caravans and campers they have large cement slab powered sites and drive through powered sites, as well as a grassed and shady camping area, and two well maintained ablutions blocks. Accommodation options include 5 x one bedroom chalets, 6 x cabins, 7 x studio rooms, and a group lodge. Other facilities include a barbecue area; self-contained campers kitchen with microwaves, fridges, hot plates, oven and large sink; a seating area to sit back and relax or watch the footy; two well maintained ablution blocks; coin operated washing machines and dryers as well as clotheslines; and a dump point. Pets are welcome but must be on a lead at all times.

The Ballidu Caravan Park is a small park located close to the centre of town. The campground is suitable for tents, caravans and motor homes with both powered and unpowered sites, and is pet friendly. Facilities include access to drinking water, barbecue, toilets showers and laundry.

In 2006, Wongan Hills was established as the first RV Friendly Town in Australia by the CMCA (Campervan & Motorhome Club of Australia).
RV parking is available at the Recreational Grounds next to the PCYC Building off Ninan Road. It is accessible to RVs, camper trailers, caravans and big rigs.
A $5 donation to the Visitors Centre is suggested, but not mandatory.
